Step 2
Your total gross household income must fall within Habitat’s current guidelines:
- Income from all sources for all household members age 18 and older
- Income is calculated before taxes and deduction’s
Review the income chart to determine if your household qualifies.
Step 3
We review credit history to determine whether applicants pay obligations on time.
- No bankruptcy in the past 3 years
- Must be a first-time homebuyer
- Debt and mortgage payments must meet program limits
Credit scores are not considered, but credit history is very important.
Step 4
Complete the Pre-Qualification Application to get started.
