Habitat for Humanity-Clinton County
Founded in 1995, Habitat for Humanity–Clinton County is a locally operated affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. We partner with individuals and families in need to build decent, energy-efficient, and affordable homes.
Habitat homes are sold at no profit and financed with affordable, no-interest mortgages. Volunteers provide the majority of the labor, while individual and corporate donors contribute the financial support and building materials that make each home possible.
Partner families invest up to 500 hours of “sweat equity” by helping build their own homes and the homes of others. Mortgage payments are placed into a revolving fund, allowing Habitat for Humanity–Clinton County to build additional homes and continue strengthening our community.
