Habitat for Humanity-Clinton County
Since 1995, Habitat for Humanity–Clinton County has partnered with local individuals and families to build decent, energy-efficient, and affordable homes. We are an independently operated affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization.
Habitat homes are sold at no profit and financed through affordable, no-interest mortgages. Volunteers provide much of the construction labor, while individuals, businesses, and community organizations contribute the funding and materials that make each home possible.
Partner families work alongside volunteers, investing up to 500 hours of sweat equity by helping build their own homes and the homes of others. Their monthly mortgage payments are placed into a revolving fund that helps finance future Habitat homes—allowing each home built to help make another possible.
Our Vision
A world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Our Mission Statement
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
All Are Welcome
Habitat for Humanity–Clinton County welcomes everyone who shares our belief that all people deserve a decent and affordable place to live. Volunteers and supporters of all backgrounds are invited to participate, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views, or any other distinction that too often divides people.
We serve individuals and families in need of safe, affordable housing without regard to race or religion. Habitat for Humanity International and its affiliated organizations do not proselytize. Assistance is never conditioned upon embracing a particular faith, converting to a religion, or participating in religious messaging.
