Since 1995, Habitat for Humanity–Clinton County has partnered with individuals and families to build safe, energy-efficient, and affordable homes. Over the past 30 years, 51 local families have achieved the dream of homeownership through the support of volunteers, donors, businesses, and community partners who believe everyone deserves a decent place to call home.
Behind every home is an incredible amount of dedication. During our fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, our organization:
Completed 2 Partner Family homes
Managed 33 Partner Family mortgages
Received 8,548 volunteer hours
Issued 126 payments to local suppliers, contractors, utilities, and service providers
Received $74,646 in charitable contributions
Raised $32,155 through fundraising events
These numbers represent much more than construction projects or financial reports. They represent families gaining stability, children having a safe place to learn and grow, and neighborhoods becoming stronger one home at a time.
The impact of Habitat extends well beyond the front door. Studies conducted by Habitat for Humanity organizations across the country consistently show that affordable homeownership changes lives(https://www.habitat.org/our-work/impact):
65% of homeowners reported better physical health.
80% of children improved their grades, while 41% of adults completed an educational or job training program.
94% of homeowners reported feeling safer in their homes, and 98% said homeownership improved how they felt about themselves.
57% of families increased their savings, and 48% said they felt more connected to their community.
These outcomes reinforce what we’ve witnessed here in Clinton County for three decades. A Habitat home is more than four walls and a roof. It provides stability, opportunity, dignity, and hope for generations to come.
Join us. Whether you can swing a hammer, make a donation, sponsor a project, or simply help spread our mission, you can make a lasting difference. Together, we are building more than homes; we are building a stronger Clinton County.
