We accept new and gently used items but unfortunately, cannot accept everything. Download our Accepted Donations list here. This list does change from time to time. Please call us if you’re unsure if we will accept your items.
Accepted Donations
Appliances
All items must be less than 10 years old and in good working condition.
- Washers/Dryers
- Dishwashers (new inbox only)
- Refrigerators

Cabinets
We accept both kitchen and bathroom cabinet sets. We accept kitchen countertops. Vanity tops must come with base cabinets and have no structural or water damage. ALL must be complete containing all doors and drawers in working order.
Doors
Must be in excellent condition with no rotted wood, broken glass, or peeling paint.
- Pre-hung or Slab.
- Exterior or Interior.
- Exterior Sliding or patio doors must be assembled and complete with all jambs, tracks, and hardware.
- Storm Doors must have all tracking.
Windows
Must be complete units with all sashes and frames. No rotted wood, cracked, or foggy glass. Double pane windows only.
Lighting
We are currently only accepting lamps.
We are currently NOT accepting ceiling fans or light fixtures.
We DO NOT accept canned, track lighting or fluorescent lights / fixtures of any kind.
Plumbing
Items must be in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, rust or water damage.
- Stainless Steel and Porcelain kitchen sinks.
- Pedestal sinks (must include base and sink).
- Miscellaneous Plumbing Hardware.
We are currently NOT accepting toilets. We DO NOT accept used faucets.
Furniture
All items must be in good condition.

- Chairs
- Tables
- Dining Room Sets
- Bedroom Sets
- Coffee Tables
- Bookshelves
- Patio or Outdoor Furniture
- Bed Frames
- Upholstered furniture – must be in excellent condition with no rips, tears or stains. Please send pictures to restore@clintonhabitat.org before dropping off at the ReStore or scheduling a pickup.
We DO NOT accept toddler beds, cribs nor hide-a-beds!
Architectural Items
- Mantels
Flooring
- Area Rugs – Must be in new condition with no visible wear, tear, stains or smoke/animal odor.
- Tile- Must be full boxes.
- Plank flooring- Must be full boxes
Hardware
We accept complete sets of door hardware, hinges, etc. We accept any quantity of screws, fasteners, hangers, connectors, etc. Please put similar items in separate bags or containers and label them. We do NOT accept nails or screws at this time.
Lumber
All lumber must be free of ALL nails and screws
- All lumber must be a minimum of 5 feet in length with no warping
- Trim and molding must be a minimum of 5 feet in length.
We are currently NOT accepting particle board, paneling, or plywood.
Electrical
We accept residential electric items only.
Home Décor
Framed artwork, decorative pottery and vases
- Complete sets of dishes
- Drapes/Curtains in new condition with no stains, rips or tears.
- Linens (Bed or Table) in new condition with no stains, rips or tears.
Miscellaneous
- Window AC Units in working order and excellent condition
- Hand and Power Tools must be in working order and excellent condition with no rust or frayed cords. If it has a charger and battery they must accompany the tool.
- We DO NOT accept baby nor pet items of any kind
